Holiday accommodation or everyday living?
Decide who will use the chalet and in which seasons. A holiday designation does not establish a right to live there permanently. Have the proposed use assessed for the actual address before choosing a model or plot.
Allow for the space around the chalet
Include access, a terrace, maintenance space and service routes in your plan. Water, electricity and drainage can form a separate part of the investment. At a holiday park, also check requirements for installation, appearance and replacement.
Compare the complete chalet proposal
Request a separate proposal covering the layout, wall and roof construction, ventilation and services. The extension configurator does not calculate a complete chalet price. Transport, foundations and fit-out must be defined in its own quotation.
| Element | What to consider |
|---|---|
| Seasonal use | Match insulation, heating and ventilation to actual use. |
| Installation | Check transport dimensions, access and installation space. |
| Running costs | Include maintenance and any park or plot charges. |
Check delivery to the final position
Ask whether delivery covers arrival only or placement on the foundation too. Measure bends, gates and height limits. A large plot may lie beyond a narrow access road. Confirm delivery feasibility before finalising chalet dimensions.
