This depends on the address and design. Position on the plot, dimensions, use and local rules all matter. Use the Dutch Omgevingsloket permit check and clarify uncertainties with your municipality. Permit-free building still has to meet applicable technical requirements.

Prefab construction reduces work on site, but the full project involves more than installation. Design, any permits, production, groundworks and finishing also take time. A realistic schedule is determined after the survey and detailed planning; there is no fixed number of days for every home.

Can I configure my entire extension myself?

You can choose dimensions, cladding, frames, rooflights and a range of interior and exterior options. Your design is a starting point for discussion. Technical feasibility, details and final dimensions are checked afterwards.

Can the extension match my existing house?

Yes. The design can reflect your home's colours, proportions and details. Brick can create a unified appearance, while timber or dark frames can form a deliberate contrast. Samples and junction details help you make the final choice.

Can a crane lift the extension over my house?

Sometimes, but this should never be assumed. Weight, distance, obstacles, street width and crane space determine what is possible. A transport and lifting plan must therefore form part of the preparation.

What is the difference between a conservatory and a living conservatory?

A conservatory often means a largely glazed extension. A living conservatory is designed as a comfortable living space. The name alone is not enough: compare the complete construction, insulation, ventilation, shading and connection to the house.
